Okra, Corn, & Tomato Chicken Stew

  • 5 red tomatoes diced
  • 3 green tomatoes diced
  • 2 lbs chicken breast boneless & skinless
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp seasoning salt
  • 2 pkgs 14oz frozen corn
  • 4 cups fresh okra chopped
  • 3 cups water
  • Salt/pepper to taste


  1. Set slow cooker to high. Season chicken breast with 2 tsp of garlic powder and 1 tbsp of seasoning salt. Set aside
  2. Add red tomatoes, green tomatoes, frozen corn, and, chicken breast to slow cooker. Add 3 cups of water and cover. Cook on high for 4 about hours.
  3. After about 4 hours, shred chicken and add okra, reduce setting to low and cook for another 1.5-2 hrs or until okra is tender.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve.
  5. Enjoy!
