Revitalizing Super Energy Drink

  • 1 ½ cups water
  • 1 persimmon top removed, cut into fourths
  • 1 carrot sliced
  • 3-4 sprigs of thyme
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp honey


  1. Add all ingredients to a small pot and on medium-high heat, bring ingredients to a boil.
  2. Once mixture reaches a boil, reduce heat to low and let cook until persimmon and carrots are tender.
  3. Remove from heat and cool.
  4. When mixture is cool, add to blender and blend until smooth.
  5. Pour into glass and enjoy immediately or place in the refrigerator to enjoy later!
