Cajun Shrimp and Fish Tacos

Ingredients

  • 6 tortillas
  • 1 lb shrimp peeled & devained
  • 6 pieces white fish good quality
  • 2 tbsp cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • salt/pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup guacamole your favorite brand
  • 1/2 cup sour cream reduced fat
  • 1 cup red cabbage shredded
  • 6 romaine lettuce leaves
  • 1-2 tomatoes diced
  • 2-3 limes
  • 1/4 cilantro finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. Lay shrimp and fish in a shallow dish. Cut limes in half and squeeze juice over shrimp and fish.

  2. Sprinkle Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, and salt/pepper over shrimp and fish.

  3. Heat a medium skillet to medium heat and add oil. Cook shrimp and fish until done and set aside.

  4. Arrange tortillas on a flat surface and add the following to each: 1 romaine lettuce leaf, shredded red cabbage, approximately 1-2 tbsp. of guacamole, 1-2 tbsp. of sour cream, and tomatoes. 

  5. Add 1 piece of fish and evenly distribute shrimp on each taco. Sprinkle cilantro on top and add sliced limes for garnish.

  6. Enjoy!
