The Meatless Meatballs are definitely a hit with my kids, so I decided to use them in my next recipe and came up with this delicious concoction…Sweet & Tangy Sesame Meatballs & Rice! Yum!!
As a Registered Dietitian, it makes me feel good to know that these savory Meatless Meatballs contain 12 grams of plant-based protein per serving, and they are made with a blend of soy and pea proteins, garlic, onion and other delicious spices!
These Meatless Meatballs can be microwaved, but I decided to cook them on the stovetop along with a serving of sweet and sour sauce and a few other yummy seasonings! They were done in less than 25 minutes! I topped the Meatless Meatballs off with some sesame seeds, placed them on top of a serving of white rice, and just like that…. dinner was done!! You can also serve them up on a platter with some toothpicks for an amazing appetizer!
This easy Sweet & Tangy Sesame Meatballs & Rice meal will become one of your favorite go-to recipes. Even the biggest meat-lovers will fall in love with this recipe. I definitely think that this dish is going to be added to our weekly meal routine!
Sweet & Tangy Sesame Meatballs & Rice
- 1 (20oz) package Garden Inspirations by Farm Rich Meatless Meatballs
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- ½ cup sweet & sour sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 3 cups prepared white rice
- Salt/pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds for topping
In a medium pot, on medium heat, add in the Garden Inspirations Meatless Meatballs, sesame oil, garlic, sweet & sour sauce, and rice vinegar. Stir and cover pot. Let the meatballs cook for about 20-25 minutes, stirring frequently.
Season with salt/pepper to taste and top with sesame seeds. Serve over white rice and Enjoy!
